I am not expecting great things this season but all the same, this performance is as poor as it ever was last season
The old guard simply don't seem to get it. Let's have some youthful energy and enterprise off that bench.

Far too slow on the ball at the back from the usual suspects Hanley, Duffy and Stacey. If you’re trying to build from the back and they aren’t moving the ball it is very difficult to progress up the pitch. Forson has been a bright spark, just need to get his final ball sorted which will hopefully come with time.
Based on that performance, Norwich got exactly what they deserved and sit exactly where they belong in the league. As well as Oxford played today, that was simply pathetic, and the kind of performance some fans who have been closely watching the pre-season suggested we might get from this team. I was hoping they were joking but it seems they were not Edit - on a brighter note, the wheels at Leeds have fallen off today too 2nd edit - I spoke too soon - they just pulled it back to 3-3
I thought we brought Doyle in because he has good passing range. I’ll give him time as he’s only just came in but I didn’t see any sign of it today
Oxford gave a pretty good demonstration of elements of it today, neutering us with their press and cutting out our feeble attempts to play through it.
I only watched intermittently as I was drinking with friends, but that seemed dire. On the first goal, Hanley went down from a slight nudge expecting a free kick. Ffs, you are a defender, not an actor. Diabolical all round.
Especially when he had the time to put the header out for a throw. He then looked really pissed off when he was taken off.
Couldn't watch it live, so I recorded it. What a pathetic performance. Oxford looked up for it, us, didn't have a clue, no passion, no drive. Our worst start since Col U stuffed us. I hope I am wrong, but this manager will be lucky to last till Christmas
