It’s mental that City were still less than evens to win mind. United starting Xl cost over £400m. City’s under £300m, with almost half of that being Dias and Gvardiol.
For those who can afford it all well and good, them that can’t afford it, are you saying they should go without.
It’s stealing. Buying a snide is no different to running in the club shop and grabbing a rail and running out. I say this having bought a load of non-Sunderland snides like so I ain’t on a high horse, just don’t see how we can take money away from our club then ask why we ain’t spending money.
No surprise to see Latte Lath bag the winner for Boro today. Really believe they’ll be right up there this season.
That top 3 wouldn’t come as a surprise Poor result for Leeds today but they won’t lose many games. Definitely going for automatics
Was a penalty tbf but when I had a look at the stats on the hour mark they were absolutely battering Swansea. Don’t think Swansea had a single attempt at that stage
Just to play devils advocate if it’s true we only get 10% of shirt sales that’s £5-6 a top - barely more than the price of the ****e pints we get in the ground. Even 50k tops would only be £250k of revenue. The season cards went up 7% which was £30 on the cheapest tickets, so 30k x 30 is £900k extra revenue straight away. At the level we’re at I’m not sure shirt sales really touch the sides in term of increasing what we can spend. I don’t really have much of an opinion on snide tops to be fair makes no difference to me because I don’t wear football tops but I think it’s harsh to label others who can’t afford the real thing when they’re continually driving the price up.
