It looks very much like we are less good than last season, not better . Hopeless signings, shameful selling, mouthy and unproven manager downgrade.
Stewart and Winstanley still running the **** show with a win rate of zero, and a hopeless pre season that tells us nothing except that we really are hopeless.
Players who should be sold, Sterling, Fernandez, Badashiell, still "in Managers plans" but no sign of any such plan except "lets try this, that and the other, to prove we haven't a plan and haven't a clue.
Only way out of this is for players to ignore Managers "system" and play to their individual strengths.
Only a moron load of owners could see Reece James reduced to nothingness and Gusto on the wrong side of the pitches as the Managers idea of "moving forward".

absolutely moron, spending millions on all these risky transfers from brazil etc. Buying neto, a winger who we dont need for 60 million.

Then selling players who we actually need and are decent such as gallagher and chalobah.

    Boely is dumb

What I find even weirder is that we are still buying players, but none to improve our strength. We are leaking goals yet trying to sell our best defender. Worse, we have wasted 2 seasons changing managers and players , saw Poch finally sort out best 11 and play well. So do we build on that work ?? Course not, we bring in a new manager with a very dodgy way of playing, and millions of pounds worth of players don’t suit his “system” and will need to be sold. Meanwhile we buy more of the same and now have 20 players more than places for them. Utter brainless garbage of a plan.

exactly what I said in the other thread.
If the signings we were making were big upgrades then I can see the reasoning behind it, instead we selling players already on our books, for cheap too, and bringing in overpriced, expensive replacements of a similar quality!! I mean WTF is going on?!

This is absolutely bizarre isn’t it, not sure what the thought process. Most of them are in their early twenties so what’s the aim? I saw Slonina has just gone to Barnsley in league one, is that the best we could find for him?

The next thing to be wrecked is the Academy. Our kids will be looking for ways out and any family with a brain will not let their youngsters come to Chelsea. No future as a player, just an American owned commodity.

exactly what I am talking about. If, at 20 years old, league one is his level, then realistically there is no chance in hell he is ever going to feature in the PL for Chelsea.
I bet you he never plays in a competitive game for Chelsea, except maybe a second round EFL Cup sub appearance when we dont get into Europe one year, against league 2 opposition.....
£10m we paid for him too, like wtf......We paid £10m for a league one player. Yeah I am sure he will improve but come on ffs....
If he was an academy player we got for free and we were loaning him out for experience with a view to selling him on in a year or two for a profit, then I could understand it.
But we paid £10m for him.......WHY?!?

It’ll be interesting to see if the home attendances hold up - 39,818 at today’s game. Could be at 38,000 maximum by Christmas if the mismanagement continues.
