Really hope for a positive performance. We have great potential in the squad and they need to step back up to the mark. We know the gaps we have, but let's hope the opportunities are taken by the players who are filling in today.
I think you're right and Brown, even though he's not arrived with a big fanfare, will make a significant difference. Last season saw opposition players flying past, even through, our midfield without the risk of a challenge. That would see O'Nien charging out to cover and being made to look reckless. He grew tired of shouting at people in some games and his head dropped a bit, unusually for him. Browne won't be shy, he's experienced and confident. I’m expecting a few mistakes tbh. Maybe even ones which cost us points. They could be at either end of the pitch. A period of bedding in at the start of the season will only be terminal if all of us let it be. Truth is we could click into gear midway through the season and still make the playoffs. So long as there are good signs and a clarity in how we play, I’ll be content over the first few weeks.
TBH I will be amazed if anything is left today, also have someone coming to view the house at 11, what a monumental pain in the arse that is, trying to make your house look like no one has ever lived in it???
