I like that BBD instinctively new where the goal was, no need to waste time looking up, that is something that has been missing since Lambert, Pelle, Ings, LeTiss etc. Early days but fingers firmly crossed.
If he is to be playing LW I think it is a pretty sure bet he will contribute more than any of the other wide players in our squad. Probably more than them combined!
Loved the brawl, not seen many of those for a while for Saints For me Charly didn’t commit a red card offense until the guy grabbed his neck, which is probably why they both got their marching orders. SAA needs a goal soon I think, I know he is only young and hardly played, but just needs that first one to have some confidence for the final shot.

I think in all honesty we should just focus on his strengths for now. 1. He moves with the ball incredibly well. 2. He is a positive player who wants to get things moving forward. 3. He has an unbelievable eye for a pass. He has played absolute worldies in every game. The little line breaking passes other people just don’t see. Goals will come eventually, but he needs to focus on those 3 areas as they are his standouts.
I said at the time that it was a very Ings like finish, I think that Ben could possibly match him with the right service.
Just watched the Lazio highlights, thoughts 1st half we won the ball in dangerous positions in their half more than they did in ours 2nd half - We generally lose the ball at the back when there isn't a pass on and we give it to a retreating player with someone on his back and no time Just need better decision making, sometimes there isn't a safe short pass on so do something else Apart from that just repeating Amo & BBD looking good
