From what i have read the mother was subjected to racist comments on the plane and the lads went looking for a bit of retribution at the baggage collection point (quite righly to imo)
When the police went to question the lads they kicked off and started throwing punches (bad move though i have sympathy because they were already riled) and things just went to ****.
All that said, you can't punch police women in the face and expect to get away with it.

What you've wrote is my understanding, but I just feel there is something missing in this sequence of events ie the other person or family, it;s like a piece of the jigsaw is missing to me. Did they have a confrontation with this unknown person/family, someone maybe the police broke it up....but the family felt aggrieved and continued their argument now with the police, why the other person/family went on their way with no action against them....now I could see how that might bring a bad reaction from the aggrieved family....all assumptions, I aint got a clue, but maybe trying to give them benefit of doubt until we have the full facts....but yeah no excuse busting a coppers nose, I do get it mate.

Trouble is in this day and age of social media, he becomes a very dangerous eccentric, in the past people would have had very little communication with them. Considering everything that went on over these last few weeks, it's very careless if not very dangerous talk if it gives people an incentive to riot. I've said previously the last couple of weeks on twitter has been a minefield, it's certainly got a lot of people wound up. I'm not happy with everyone from one side being deemed as far-right, but I guess it;s language to defuse, ie do you want to be seen as far-right. My personal opinion is all it does is drag the problem on to a future time, but they weren't really protesting over what I would have wanted to protest over (knives) and yes immigration does need to be discussed, whether people like it or not, but to go burning down hotels is beyond extreme and they need 10 year sentences, let there be no doubt how I feel about that, sick agendas just make me think I no longer care about the things I thought I cared about, because I don't want to be linking arms with these nutters.

I know very little about twitter (now known as X0 as i only went on it for one poster (Evil Kagawa) who was a hilarious parody account that typed in Japanese accent (if you get me) to get at SAFs treatment of him in a joking way.
i avoid social media sites like the plague and from wht i see quoted on here from them i am quite right to do so.

I hope to **** none of my grand kids get their views off them in the future and hold on to the fact that my kids have the same view of them as i do.

You are wise to stay away. It can be a very useful place, for anything football, also I love seeing the funny and kind stuff. But there is a nasty side to it, where people with agendas can make stuff trend that you really wouldn't want your kids reading.

    They have not pleaded guilty.
Everyone sentenced has pleaded guilty so there ain't been a trial.

Wonder if Diego fancies taking my offer of a £50 charity bet that there will be charges for the Manchester airport incident?

I’d stick it in a double with Solanke to score fewer than 15.

I don’t think the plea is relevant here, mate. The rioters are being charged in the police station before being put straight in front of the courts to enter their plea.

Why wouldn’t they do that for lads that have punched three police officers to the floor? I also believes whether they’re pleading guilty or not guilty, the courts are remanding them until sentencing or trial (depending on plea).

They’ll be charged and jailed. No doubt about it. Why hang around though? There’s enough evidence to charge them, put them in front of the courts and have them remanded while they put the case together for trial or sentencing (depending on plea), it’s what they’re doing for the rioters.

My guess is that a lot of the rioters are pleading guilty, which is why they are being dealt with straight away. The problem is a lot of these stupid shhites are on camera, ie a brick to the head, a brick to the balls....a woman pushing a wheelie bin on fire towards the cops, and then lying flat out for them to arrest her, their level of stupidity is at whole new levels of criminal stupidity.

Whereas if you tried to burn down a hotel and go not guilty, surely that has to go to crown court in front of a jury. I wouldn't think a Magistrate deals with that due to length of probable sentence.

I think with the three officers on the floor, they are still trying to stitch together the whole picture of what occurred. For me personally if you go wading in doing that to coppers, you get what you deserve, in the same manner football fans would be dealt with, but hey ho, I'm sure we'll get the answers eventually, then we can all decide if they were treated more favourably...or not.

This is what I was listening to on Radio 4 the other day, with the advent of smartphones has come a reduction in smart people. Because these dickheads are actually filming each other's offending, or in some cases filming their own offending. Also many of them have whatsapp messages telling their mates that they intend to do.

It makes the CPS' job a whole lot easier lol

You see them at these protests....sorry riots, all waving their smart phones about lol...it's like it's some sort of magic forcefield that is protecting them. Only to find out when they get nicked that the coppers are saying thank you for evidence gathering for us. Even in the short time we've had smart phones, what happened to the days when you left your phone at home if you were going out to commit a crime. It's akin to someone burgling your house and leaving their drivers licence behind. They defo been watching too many movies and think they are Agent K and Agent J fooking twats.
