What about the rest of his career? Last year he was 1 in 2 which would be decent if he can replicate that for Spurs but his overall goal scoring record is dire.
Eze over Neto is a no brainer for me. Much more productive and overall better player. My gripe is that it’s taken so long, if Spurs wanted Solanke and Eze since the beginning of the window then why has neither been signed? If it’s because the selling clubs wanted too much then move on to plan b.
Don't worry Bobby. Worst comes to worst, you can field a team made up almost entirely by goalkeepers. We'll finally get to see what our EA Sports experiments as kids look like in real life.
6th-7th. Would love to say to win Europa but we often overlook it as if we’re too good to be in it. Quarters of both domestics. Opinion might change depending on how the window finishes.
as things stand, I don’t see us doing any better than last season. I’d bite your hand off for 5th place in the league. But we MUST have better cup runs next season. Don’t see us winning anything, but can’t be dealing with pathetic non existent performances which result in our season being entirely over by February.
EA Sports experiment ran by a mentally handicapped. At least when you get your dream team you sign all these star players. We're just paying superstar prices for mediocre to good players.
Cliched saying but can go either way I guess. If he's **** then we're stuck with him for ages reeling at what a **** up it was, if he's good then 33 is still an age where a striker can be banging in goals for fun, especially ones that have never been reliant on pace which he ain't. Certainly not someone I'd have chucked £60m-£65m at though.
I know I’m known for being pessimistic but this is a shocking deal imo. Spending the bulk of the summer budget on a player who isn’t even as good as Richarlison (who I don’t rate) just seems so untottenham like.
