BBC have ordered Huw Edwards to repay part of his salary, SKY mentioned a figure of £200k. Reason for the repayment of wages is because the BBC claim they didn't know the full extent of the charges against him.
I was rather hoping it was the Harehills lot going through the court system but it seems it was the counter protests attacking a hotel. If it was the former then it might just have quietened things down a bit.
Yeah I was going to come back and correct myself, but left it because I thought someone might pick up on this point - I initially thought it was Harehills when they said Leeds, but as you have rightly pointed out, no it's not. I can only think it's like someone, can't remember who, mentioned on here before, maybe those getting dealt with quickly are those that plead guilty. I think the government is being a bit misleading when they say they are getting them processed quickly, yes that maybe so, but only if they plead guilty, otherwise surely they have to go to trial?
