I'm a born and bred Yorkshireman and even I know that there's about 10 football clubs filling the (geographical) area between Charlton and Wycombe

    Some old faces popping up!

Funny enough I was having a chat with 'wall fans in the old forest hill tavern the other day. What they say grates them about 'wall fans is the fact you'll meet many people on nights out who say they support millwall, especially in comparison to CAFC and CP. If only those who claimed to be fans actually attended the games then you would have a bigger stature. Thought it was a fair enough point- we have bigger attendances, but there is an argument for who has more fans <ok>

the good thing is, if we get promoted, we'll be back factually to being the biggest club south of the river as all comparisons will be in charltons favor. and that is only if palace and millwall dont get relegated.

'if we get promoted' is the most sensible part of that statement! still plenty of 'time to slip up' yet!

Since you returned to the Valley and the Premiership years all this new support has arrived, as during the eighties it was a few thousand diehards, making you like a MK Dons new boys on the scene outfit.
Also read properly i don't remember 55,000 my Dad does.;)

i'm struggling to find a point in there. its common sense that attendance will go up the further up the leagues you go. but back to the point of this thread... in a league below, we are still getting more fans than you. when we go up a league, we'll have even more. doesnt matter if they're die hards or plastics. its the fact that people cannot be bothered to go and watch millwall and more people can be bothered to go see charlton.

with the comparisons point. thats fair enough - we're MK dons. but if we were to apply that to millwall, you'd probably be dagenham. now go with me on this one for a minute.... you too also had a sh1t ground built in the last decade or two. you also have hardly any fans. your in a crappy part of town. your fans would also rather say they support them than actually do anything with them (like turn up).

Sat in greenwich? I didnt know park benches have wifi? Or are you close enough to a McDonalds to ursurp some of their wifi? The simple fact is, tosser in Greenwich. Charlton are constantly doing stupid promotions to get any old person through the door with a fiver on them a group of my mates went to your place about 20 of them. 1 supported Charlton. None of them sang or cheerd just went because, and i quote "it was cheap and there was **** all else to do." I'd rather not have them at the Den just to take up seats and make it look full for the television cameras. There should be a sign on Millwalls ticket office, saying: Real Wall Need Only Apply.
Your ticket office is reminds me of UK border control. Any old **** can stroll in and take the piss, because no one inside's got the bottle to do **** all about it.

and with this, i can safely say the gates at millwall are a lot more lax. esp after letting in wannabe racists like you. "Any old **** can stroll in" - doesnt make you sound hard, comes across as ignorant. and gladly, we dont get that at the valley.

Do these people not then buy beer, burgers, programs, half time draw tickets etc.

How much revenue does all those empty seats at your dump bring in?

Small club, and always will be with small minded idiots like you!

Maybe Millwall rips their own fans off, that would be why there are such low attendances at the Den. It's certainly true of Palace. How much is a season ticket for Millwall?

Lion from birth - Over 7,000 for a League Two game Saturday, didn't have to bus them in either, plus only just over 100 of them were away supporters <ok>

i'm 31 now. been going since about the age of 4 (parental guidance permitting).

seriously? name puns? with a name that starts with ringo? sounds like a name for someone working on behalf LGBT faction?

no, but in all seriousness, its not a good thing to be deciding who gets let in where - whether it be the country or a football ground. thats how you got your reputation in the first place.

So I'm ignorant because I believe the country is over populated and under funded? I wasn't trying to sound "hard" I was making a point which you didn't want to reply to so played the old race card. Gets somewhat tedious that one. But never the less, without trying to sound "hard" (whatever that may mean) you sir, are a **** in the highest sense of the word. <ok>
