I just read this article: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15937334.stm

Owen Coyle is hoping January loan signings could help save Bolton's season, like it did two years ago.

It got me thinking. Do Liverpool have any players who could benefit heavily from this?

I dont know what Bolton's weakest positions are, but I think Danny Wilson, Jonjo Shelvey and Fabio Aurelio, for different reasons. Jay Spearing to, but I'd like to see him get more games.

    What do you guys think?

Wilson for sure, maybe even Coates ( depends on fitness of CB's), Robinson and Flano for sure as well.

Shelvey will most likely stay at Blackpool, I would like to see Spearing and Wilson go out on loan.

    What are Boltons weak positions?

I believe they have Cahill and Davis who are decent. Who else?

Id be very tempted to loan them one of Coates ( preferable ) or Wilson, if Cahill leaves, we dont need 5 CBs plus Kelly who can play there

Spearing is cover for lucas.Cant see him going anywhere and he turned down a loan opportunity previously i believe.

Maybe loan Morgan out to see how he deals with PL opposition if it was feasible?

Coates, Suso, Wilson, Eccleston & Coady could all benefit with a loan... Also, if this question would have come up 2-3 weeks ago i'd have probabvly added Maxi to that list but he has played his way back in to the first team

Eccleston cant even get into a league one team, so I cant see Bolton giving him a go.

    Same here.

But I do feel sorry for him. Especially with Lucas, Adam and Henderson doing so well.

Jonjo Shelvey - Loan with Blackpool should be extended.
Jay Spearing - If we have sufficient cover for Lucas' extremely large boots then I can't see why not.
Fabio Aurelio - Unlikely to be taken on due to fitness problems
Danny Wilson - Needs some games/experience, send him out on loan.
Sebastian Coates - Daniel Agger is injury prone. Jamie Carragher is slowly handing down his role, no need for Coates to be loaned out as his appearances are unlikely to be halted between now and January. Even if Martin Kelly is tried and tested at centre-back I can see room for Coates.

Recall pacheco. Now. He's getting no game time now in Spain. Give him half a season in a lower end prem club and then we can finally see whether he's worth keeping or not.

Agree with this. Maybe get him back down at Norwich where he did well at the end of last season.

I do sadly think his time at LFC is coming to and end and will be transfered to some Spanish lower league team in Jan / end of the season though. Such high hopes for him but obviously something is wrong if 3 managers haven't given him a chance.

Definately agree, should have gone back to Norwich for a year......Not getting anytime in Spain, and i suspect they will continue not to play him to ensure getting him cheap at the end of the year......Wish Dani had progressed, (the only thing that im not smiling about with Liverpool at the moment - had great hopes for him.)

A LB would be good, as would a Sturridge type striker.

I doubt any of you now want Coates to go out on loan after last night's display. It's a good job Spearing isn't on loan following Lucas's injury.

He's been dropped because he wasn't/isn't good enough.
