Actually, our board becomes twice as busy because some posters only post on here when things don't go our way. It's been a bit quiet since we've been doing alright.
Disappointment can do that mate, I watched it first hand, considering the few chances in the first half which Liverpool were better both teams didn't create much. Referee was poor again in not sending off Lukaku and booking the wrong guy and missing a blatant penalty early doors probably because it was early doors Ironically for us Liverpool broke and scored during our best period of the game. We had many good performances in Romeu who grows in stature with every game. Bertrand who is unlucky because Ash is directly in front of him had a sterling game as did Turnbull, Mata & Ramires did well when they came on even David Luiz had a decent game So it ain't all bad but one we should have won in the grand scheme of things..
I thought the defence and midfield done ok. The front 3 might as well have not bothered, Malouda, Torres and especially Lukaku did nothing but give the ball away, fall over and look miserable all game. Romeu, Bertrand and Luiz I thought were very good and the rest did OK. We have to start playing better if we are going to turn this around but might have been a different game entirely if we had got that pen, much like in Germany last week.
Yeah, I never sit in the West/East stand but was there last night in west lower, shocking view so losing only made me annoyed and say everyone played awful! Romeu needs to make that position his, he's going to be a fantastic player and I'm amazed how easy he's finding the Premier League! Both were bad goals to conceed, especially the 2nd, that really made my blood boil Oh well bring on the toon on Sat!
