It is not like saying something to a work colleague or your mate down the pub in confidence where there is no record of what was said. It is there in black and white in perpetuity for millions to read on sershall meeja including the police and crown prosecution service

Personally I believe this is half the reason you have so many bot accounts. First thing people do now if they disagree with a remark they see as something wide of the mark they’re trying to find out who employs the person etc. I’m not a soft arse so I don’t get offended over something I see on the internet if I’m honest, no idea if that’s because I’ve grown up with it through gaming and know some pretty toxic sites that used exist where basically anything and everything was posted so you become insensitive to it. These trolls don’t have any boundaries and if they sense a weakness they’ll just go after you relentlessly and unfortunately most of them are savvy enough to do it and remain anonymous so what’s the point in biting unless you can find out who they are and give them a kicking. You’ll just sit there getting angry at a screen and they’ve won. Two years ago on twitter people were banned very easily because silicon valley was left leaning, something Zuckerberg acknowledged. It was blatantly biased toward the left for a long time and it’s only now that Musk has taken over it’s became a free for all. There’s not enough moderating of content being shared on there that’s for sure, the Israel and Palestine conflict was a prime indicator of that.
