Same here, temps not too bad at 33 but no breeze whatsoever.
Had a really nice Swiss white wine tonight, that we got from there yesterday. A little sweet but went great with the paella

We're still in Passy, French Alps, just went to Geneva and around the lake for the day yesterday.

Bought a couple of bottles back with us

Not the bridge (this time) came via Cotswolds - Heads of the Valleys completely ****ed around Merthyr... confusing and contradictory signs ... if I hadn't been so tired, I'd have laughed <laugh>

That's a juvenile Basking shark. Which is a great sign, because we've not seen a lot of them down here in the last decade or so.

    Be good when it's finished.

And they put a 40mph limit on it!

It'll save some time once done but like you say they'll stick a stupid speed limit on it.

They’ve just finished dueling the A30 down here. 4 ****ing years of roadworks and congestion. Suppose it had to be done, but it’s given me a whole new level of road rage I didn’t even know existed <laugh>

having spent what felt like a whole day on the A30 when it was 95% single carriageway trust me its worth it
oh and back then you went thru quite a few built up areas which are now bypassed .

I remember it as a kid when we used to go on holiday to Cornwall.

    South Circular from Lewisham
    A 303 to Exeter
Then the long haul down the old single carriage A30 through all the towns and villages.

We used to leave our house at 3am and it would take us until evening that day to arrive. Our old neighbours used to wave us off from the bedroom window too, it was a big deal back them lol.

This is dualled all the way now though, right?

I don't want any of the North Devon link bollocks I had to endure, when going to and from Launceston.

The NDL was a recurring Friday afternoon nightmare in summer.

yeah i remember those bizarre journeys in the early hours in some car which would barely reach 50mph .
Half the holiday seemed to be packing the car and getting there and back <laugh>

My old man had a Hillman Hunter in dog **** brown colour. He used to chain smoke lambert & butler ***s all the way from South London to Cornwall, like you say doing an average of about 40mph all the way there <laugh>

Almost. It’s dualled all the way to hayle now. So just that last bit from there to PZ is single lane.

The part they’ve been doing for the last 4 years is from Truro to Chiverton. It’s only about an 8 mile stretch but it used to be one of the most congested parts of the A30

Waiting for the takeaway pizza tonight, tried this from the shop next door.

It's OK actually! Would have rather rum, but they didn't have it.

Does a job, and am now genuinely beered out.

Two cold Spanish is all I can manage at lunch time, nice as that is.

Just back from an evening event I’ve been trading at. Funky little barn affair with food, music and a bar.

Some of the totty there was ****ing off the hook man, some absolutely beautiful women, dark skinned, light skinned, black hair and brown eyes, blonde hair and blue eyes and just a stunning array of hot birds everywhere.

I’m very much a married man, but if I was single, **** me man, I would have been in my ****ing element lol

Praise the Lord and Hallelujah to the almighty father for creating such exquisite hotties lol
