I know what you're trying to say smug but what stands out for me is the letters BBC, An organisation who themselves hid what saville was getting up to. Don't want to digress from this great thread to talk about the inhuman vile creature so I'll just leave it there.

Sorry mate, but it's fake information that kicked off all these riots.

How about Reuters or the CPS itself then?

'Starmer was not the reviewing lawyer in charge of probing the Savile allegations.

The CPS told Reuters in an email that there is no reference to any involvement from the DPP in the decision-making within a report (here) examining the case.'

Im the same tbh just know from cases I’ve had and violence reduction work. We used to run a programme teaching youngsters what behaviour constitutes what offence and what happens next so they’re educated enough to make informed choices. .

The Magistrates Courts can only sentence someone to 6 months for a single offence or 12 months on multiple offences, these lot have been Remanded in Custody to be sentenced at Crown Court so expect higher sentences than 12 months, the problem is Crown Courts are stowed off hence the delay. If the authorities try to cut corners the rioters will be freed on appeal. The wheels of justice turn slowly Rooch.

Me too aswell mate with my lads. Scares the life out of me having them grow up in a cowardly world of weapons and knives.

Teesside is one of the worst places in the country for Knife crime at the moment. Theres been a Matrix Police force drafted in to try and calm it down

It's hard to know what to do for the best Tees, you can wrap them in cotton wool but they probably wouldn't appreciate that. I think the only way is to warn them of the dangers, teach them to steer clear of people/areas/activities where they could potentially be harmed and trust them to make the right decisions.
Your love for your lads is obvious and that will go a long way to guide and influence them.

That's lies. The CPS couldn't prosecute because the police didn't supply enough evidence and so it never got far enough for him to be involved in any prosecution. And if you want to come out with stuff like that, how about blame Thatcher who knighted Savile? Who also invited him to Chequers for new years eve? Or the current King for his backing of Savile? Or better still, West Yorkshire police who deliberately sat on complaints and evidence for years and wouldn't work with other forces looking to investigate Savile.

Thankyou mate yes it is, this past week has driven my anxiety through the roof worrying about them.
The fact there was an 11 year old kid arrested for setting fire to a Police car in Hartlepool really hit home. That's the same age as my lads. They still cuddle into me to watch TV and take a teddy to bed. The country is a really scary place right now and my biggest fear in life has always been to not be able to protect my lads from situations beyond my control. X
