I'm back - whether I'm wanted or not!.......... Lets just say it involved a roof, safety issues, some scaffolders, and a neighbour. All amicably resolved if not entirely finished. Now then, who's for a bet on City for the opener, and indeed for the season's final outcome? I'm not a "serious" punter so can't be arsed with "big" money on short odds approach. Got to be only sustainable cash on something longer for the buzz and sheer enjoyment of the chase. On that basis, going to wait a bit for the Sunderland game until the day to see how it fluctuates but just tied up some longer term dosh I can forget about until next May - some will say I can forget about it full stop............. £50 @ 6/1 for a top 6 finish and another £50 @ 14/1 on going up by any route. So that's 3 possible outcomes - sod all, £350 or £1100. Let's see how it goes.
Welcome back Sparkey. You've not been missed on the 'away from football' thread. I think the £350 is realistic. It might be a year early for the £1100.
An average of 14 tipsters puts us in 17th place, just above the Jack's. Clearly no one shares my optimism!
When you comment on my post BT, Masky tingles with excitement....one so appreciates it! Masky Of Llandaff
Goosebumps! Let's go. Bloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooobirds!!!
Derby's player of the season starts on the bench. Besides Adams, Nelson and NML playing for the rams, the latter captaining the side.
So, following Sparkey's advice I have just invested a tenner with William Hill at the stadium. City to go up by any means 16-1.
I think there's every possibility that it is but I also think the Hatters are going to struggle this season.
