The question is, not who would you pick or what would you like but, assuming Brucie is still with us on Sunday what team and formation do you think BRUCE will go for.

I think it will be an attacking 4-5-1/4-4-1-1, not lose and try to win team of..

    Westwood
    O'Shea...Turner...Brown...Bardsley
    Larsson..Cattermole..Vaughan..Sess
    Richardson
    Bendtner

He knows he cant lose this one, I think.

I hope that he goes 4-4-2 - but 4-5-1 is more realistic.

your team looks as good a guess as any.

I really feel that with it now being plainly obvious the vast majority of fans are now against him, that his position as manager has become nigh on impossible. I'm also quite sure that you will be right when you suggest that he will go into the match not to lose it rather than going out for victory.

This sums him up. If he really thinks 'he cant afford to lose this one' and a draw will be good enough then he is sadly mistaken.

    How about

    Westwood

    Bardsley-O'Shea-Brown-Richardson

    Cattermole - Colback

    Larsson - Sessegnon - Vaughan

    Bentdner

Sunderlands wingers and widemen are useless so why not play through the middle and be more direct

Got to say watching the highlights on Goals on Sunday and Match of the Day this struck me and I genuinely thought he would have been sacked this week. Doesn't look like it now.

That has been said of the last 2 games and Bruce remains in a job. Short has different opinions clearly.

With all the spculation, without winning 4 on the bounce then I think he is living on borrowed time.

He might lack offensive options, but sadly this is his team so he has to take responsibility for what we have. Fair enough Bent and Gyan screwed him over but as manager he should have dealt with it.

I think Everton is a similar sort of club to us in terms of ethos, but with less money - yet they have a great squad who have stuck together on the whole the past 3-4 seasons. Ours on the other hand changes dramatically each Summer.

    Must must must win.

Despite this contradicting what i complained about earlier in season I'd switch Sees to right.
I'd also drop O'Shea and give young Nobel a go.

    Westwood
    Bardsley...Turner...Brown...Richardson
    Sess..Cattermole..Vaughan..Larsson
    Bendtner
    Nobel

Does it really matter, we know the outcome of this match, we already knew he couldn't lose the last one, but he did & nothing has changed

    My team would be:

    Westwood

    Bardsley Turner Brown O'Shea

    Catts
    Larrson Vaughan

    Sess Bendnter Richo
    or

    Westwood

    Bardsley Brown Turner Richo

    Larrson Catts Vaughan Sess

    Noble Bendnter
Sadly I think he won't play either :( We will lose and he will be sacked.

I can't see why he would drop Colback mate. He's been better than cattermole imo. That said, the formation is spot on.

Bruce is a one paced manager who can't adapt to changing situations. If will argue that sometime, using this formation, We will click and score a hatful.

We won't of course because we don't play the one finisher we actually have at the club. Noble.

I can't see us winning, but a draw is not acceptable. Would rather go down trying than another single point. Our position is not as bad as people make out, but to me just feels like we are still in pre-season mode, quarter of the way into the season.
