Exactly. Depends how much you're getting in the first place.

Man Utd have offered £50m plus Antony for RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Šeško.
RB Leipzig have rejected the offer and are holding out for just the £50m.

A bit of click bait and poorly done imo.

Gomez won't be moved unless gomez comes back off his holidays and demands to move.

Van den Berg was spoken to by slot before preseason and was given ample time this summer to have a look at him. Decisions will be made later.

Morton is the obvious one he's not really been given much chance by slot as the 6 so far so it's inevitable the rumours would fly.

Clark won't be sold. He is actually injured so it's grossly unfair to say he didn't make the trip due to some other reason. He will likely be loaned out later on.in the window.

Carvalho has been given massive work by slot and told to play lw. Why do people think he'd then be sold off once the seniors return?

Beck, hardly very controversial. He's been the third choice lb behind tsimikas and Chambers. There's queues for him including celtic.

The gravenberch rumours have slowed up as well so they forgot about him.

The salah stuff has dried up as well.

Carvahlo been bright spark and new formation seems to suit him more than klopps so be good to keep him around.

£15m seems very low when you compare to what other players with little to no experience are going for (villa kid for £18m, Anderson from Newcastle for £30m etc).

If we were to sell would be hoping for £25-30m with a sell on % as he could turn into a 40/50m player after a couple seasons.

But be good to see him get game time, otherwise a loan to a prem club that’ll play him would be nice but getting him into a team where will play consistently at a high level and have a lot of the ball so isn’t just defending 90% of game may be tricky.

Becoming clear that our summer will be.... nothing

ok some players will probably go out on loan and some of the lesser players might be sold, but that'll be it.

Contracts will be the thing this summer. VvD and Salah will probably get small contract extensions, 1-2 years. TAA, will get a huge pay rise and a long contract to fend off Real.

Other than that really looks like we'll do nothing, I expect Slot was offered the job cause he was the one willing to work with what was already in the squad and use the youth.
Expect to be disappointed if you wanted signings.

I think thats probably a bit pessimistic as an Outlook.

However there is a large financial hit due to the cl year missing, another financial hit on the anfield road end delay (which is still not done) and we spent more laster summer than we did for 5 years.

However the squad is stacked so any buy has to make sense. There's more than enough players bit are thry the right players?

For me I keep saying endo isn't quick enough to play the prem week in and week out and the gsme I'm seeing slot demand won't suit him at all either.

Who the two 6s are (which are more deep lying playmakers like a jorginho or thiago type than a busier type) will tell a lot

Gampo amd diaz wide, jota and nunez though the middle leaves us with salah and kids on the right. Is it good enough? Imo someone has to go for a Gordon to wander in. (That rumour makes no bloody sense st all as it stands)

Lb looks an issue for me and cb will be one very soon but again players must go.

I'd be happy seeing a mini clear out that includes kelleher, Beck, carvalho, van den Berg, morton and tsimikas.

I think Chambers, clark, doak and Davies will be loaned out minimum with danns and a couple.more highly likely.

    Good.

I felt it was a load of media rubbish and it's been building with people adding more interest from nowhere so I'd be happy with that.

It’s not a huge issue though. We finished 3rd and we’re in a title raise most of the season so not like we were 7th and needed a complete overhaul.

I know sometimes you don’t spend and you get left behind as others improved but then other than a proper DM is there an area where we are seriously light in the first 11? Plenty depth up top and in attacking midfielders.

I do think it’s important slot assesses everything, don’t forget it’s a new manager, new DOF and Technical Director, new style of play and he hasn’t even had a training session with about 7 of his first choice 11. Rushing in and buying players won’t help the situation. No point going and getting another short term DM option as that’s what Endo essentially is.

As you say, prob also huge focus on the 3 out of contract as if we tie them down, you don’t need to replace those 3 immediately. If we lose any of them then it may change winter/next summer transfer plans so don’t think was ever going to be an easy summer

Imo our tactic with the ball will be.

    Quansah alisson vvd
    Trent gravenberch macca robbo
    Salah Szoboszlai nunez Diaz

I can't really call if jones or gravenberch start or gakpo or Diaz start or even szobo v Elliott.

Given we've bradley, konate, Gomez, the three mentioned above and Jota before several other lesser lights I think we should be concentrating on who improves thst 11.

A lb buy will improve it.

Jones or gravenberch at 6 as ball players? I think that's ambitious

Salah can't last too long. We need to think hard.

3 of that 11 are in the last year of their contracts, 2 of whom are entering their twilight years. We need to understand who we will need next year too before we prioritise. I think that a ball playing 6 is a clear gap but there aren’t that many around atm.

    I'd agree with that

    Bradley replaces trent no problem.
Vvd needs to think hard cos anywhere he goes he retires in effect. We do have 5 cbs with him through it seems.

Salah.i am.easy on I've said we need to replace him since before he signed thr last contract extension. No replacement to.my.mind unless it's Gordon who slot gave virtually no minutes to.

We will find it tough to replace the real world.class talent but contracts.can be offered and accepted there.

We still need a better player than tsimikas to compete with robbo

We still have that imbalance on the right and this season would be the time to sort that. Salah will go next season and we'll have to replace him, it would make sense to do that now if we have someone in mind.

DM also stands out, Endo can do a job and hopefully Bajetic has recovered but I'd rather we got someone in.

can’t see us buying a top name for the RHS this year if Salah is still here….nobody will want to play second fiddle to him for an entire season. A young talent, maybe though but if we lose both Virgil and Mo in one year, I’d rather buy at least one big name to replace one of them.

Imagine getting a chance to learn from the best in that position. Wonderful opportunity for our current youngsters. Hopefully Salah gives them the time of day.

Well, of all the positions that need addressing, we're being linked with Mamardashvili - a goalkeeper.
