Had him on loan first

 

For me, Pelle was top draw. All the furore of that summer after the mass exodus and in walks a guy to step into Rickie's shoes and goes and manages 12 PL goals in his first season in the division. For £8m, I'd say that's a success. 2 seasons, 68 PL games, 23 goals and his performances got him called up to the Italy team.

After all that, we even made a profit on the guy (sold for £12m)

 

Scored some absolute belters too, him and Dusan were just what we needed after Rickie and Adam left.
It wasn't just his goals though he was a very good target man.

 

I always thought it was pretty unanimous the Pelle was a good signing. did a great job for 2 seasons then banked profit before he was passed his best.

 

Slim pickings guys. Lavia’s a yes, Charley sorta questionable. Pelle’s yes but jeez, years ago. I’ll not ask for the duffers!

 

And he had glorious, glorious hair.

Worth the entry fee alone tbh

 

The game tonight is at risk of being postponed, there are stories of protest marches in the city.

 

Have you read this anywhere, or just assuming this to be the case?

 

Nothing concrete yet, the Protests are definitely happening but what will happen isn't clear, we are likely to lose any Police from the Stadium.

Yep that is true, if there is a risk of serious disorder a mile or so away, they wont be able to police the ground properly.

Saintsplayer are advertising the Lazio game as being on
DAZN CA15 and ESPN PLUS 07.
Hopefully they will be able to show it tonight, as they couldn’t show the Millwall game, despite saying they would.
