Ok, would you trade his forward play for a rock solid LB? Don't say you want both because, if they existed for a Championship club to buy, we couldn't afford them. I see him as a very good wing back but I don't think his defending is as bad as you make out. We weren't conceding many goals with him in the team. Aski will know but I think we conceded more down our right. Agree to disagree because you've nailed your colours to the mast. I think he'll be one of our most important players this year.
He's fine in this league. ****ing shocking in the league above. He'd probably look okay playing for Man City or Arsenal in a strange way. No good for a relegation threatened defence.
I agree with you but i have a grudging respect/liking for him. He knows he’s far from the crowd favourite, taken all the criticism and insults hurled his way but has stayed and played his part last season. I don’t know but I don’t think he’s been offered a new contract and has still stayed. Hope he does well this season
He hasn't been offered a new contract. He will go for free at the end of this season. Farke seems to want him to play much further forward this season.
