Earlier in the season we were desperate for a holding mid field player, it hasn't taken Hibs long to see his potential in that position , just a shame we didn't spot it here.
True, but playing holding midfield for Hibs might have been an easier introduction to the position than in the Championship with us.
Good chance for the kid, should be better than playing under 21s. Hopefully other good loans for Watson etc
Bainbridge has looked alright. Very shaky start but has grown into it. Neither goal his fault. This isn't the game to judge him on.
He’s been alright considering he’s an 18 year old kid playing his first game in men’s footy, doesn’t look out of place which is a compliment to him
Tough start for Bainbridge today but it’ll do him good. Hopefully he features midweek in the European qualifier - would be more valuable experience for the lad

Bainbridge on the bench against Tromso, didn't manage to get on. Matty Young on the bench for Salford in a 2-0 defeat to Port Vale, Salford also signed Jamie Jones a very experienced goalkeeper for that level who was on the books at Boro last season, so this could limit his chance of games a fair bit. Nathan Bishop (Wycombe) conceded 3 in a 3-2 defeat to Wrexham. There might be more but I can't think of anyone else.
Shame about Matty Young. If he's not going to get games, he may as well have stayed here. Be interesting to see what the plans are for him (I.e. if there is an agreement to play certain minutes etc)
