Bored with Score predictions lets see who can guess how many beans we can get in the jar? I'll hazard a guess at 22,674 UTT
Saints fans are saying our travelling support was brilliant last night. Not a bad endorsement. Hopefully we can get behind the lads at the weekend. They'll bring 2K i reckon making it about 20,500. PS Roary get one saying "you've only gone for the Ladyboys". It'll be class.
We have to win this game or I'll never live it down. Bigger game than TWS for me (TWS aren't a proper rivalry anyway, they couldn't give a **** about us, they're more interested in teams like Man Utd who they'll never play again )
I might get slated for saying this but I have a really bad feeling about the Leicester game. A sense of foreboding that won't go away. I hope beyond hope I'm wrong but I think Judas Pearson will have us well sussed out and have too much experience and nounce for NB and our lads.
Seconded, bricking my pants, wishing I hadn't gone winding up all my mates and any other Leicester fans I've seen wandering about
On the plus side our lads will be much more up for this than theirs. Our lot will want to give Pearson a massive '**** you and goodbye' and maybe a goodwill gesture of something large to shove up his arse (by that I mean scoreline). However on the downside, they have the away advantage over us.
id be concerned on saturday no matter who we where playing, as our defenders have forgotten how to defend...i know its a team game, you defend from the front etc... but you cant legislate for not marking strikers stood on the 6 yard box, or letting players run in unchallenged like burnleys 2nd saturday...its just basic stuff and you have to feel a bit sorry for barmby because you cant do anything about defenders not doing that, apart from drop them of course.
# Get Basso back and normal service will be resumed, our defenders have lost all confidence since he's been out.
To be honest, Chester was ****e against Derby and Burnley, can't comment about last night as wasn't there, but he really seems to have lost it a bit since Pearson went. Chester definitely at fault for Burnleys first 2 on Saturday, the 2nd one was a very comical un-chester-like hopeless attempt and looked as if he'd given up. If he's suspended Saturday may not be such a bad thing Macca will do his best to get a place in the team and might pick Chester back up before he maybe enters a bad form patch.
Fair point, but I still think we'll see a massive difference if we can just get the dodgy kneed Brazilian back between the sticks.
Our defenders need to concentrate on their own game before looking elsewhere to apportion blame. Didn't go last night so can't comment but Saturday was poor defending, errors made that had nothing to do with who was in goal.
i arent gulasci biggest fan, and to be honest i want basso back in..just think theres bigger problems then gulasci, he made a very good save last night, and was let down by the guys in front of him as they stood and wathced the ball bounce past them and the saints striker put it in, trust works both ways...he made a top class save on saturday and was let down by chester...he has just as much right to not trust them at the minute.. lets not forget basso dropped one at barnsley and somehow got lobbed with a header at bristol from a mile out.
