BBC video shows at least one City shirt (last season's home) and possibly another but can't tell as can only see the back, but it is amber
I can’t believe how thick some people are. Not condoning it but surely if you’re going to turn up to a riot, wear a mask or conceal your identity. There were people on TikTok live with their mates having a laugh as they launched bricks at riot police or looted shops with their faces being shown. Why don’t you just email Humberside Police with your name, National Insurance number, address and your first pet’s name whilst you’re at it?
Just picked my auntie up from HRI A&E and Ferensway is still blocked off, and police cars are on blue lights all over the place. Safest place in town tonight is Waterstones! The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
More shocking videos of the looting are coming online, it's becoming clear the police cordon on Jameson Street was too slow at moving forward to protect businesses once looting broke out, chavs just helping themselves, prime suspect#1 in the St George shirt prominent again coming out of Lush distributing stolen gifts like Father f***ing Christmas. Loads of young lasses taking up the opportunity as well. Shameful and nowt to do with the original protest!
Anyone who thinks what went on yesterday was justified in any way shape or form needs to get in the ****ing sea.
Just thought I would pop this on here. Previously men had to be 5ft 10 inches or over, under 30years old, weigh 12 stone or they would fail the medical. Females over 5ft 6inches etc. however, these rules were looked on has sizeist , ageist etc etc. and they were all dropped. Make of this what you will.
The memorial built by the far right for the three girls in Southport burning cars burning buildings injured police officers broken glass intimidated hotel workers and guests "paki" bashing burning tyres and theft It's difficult reading this thread to remember that three young girls were murdered dancing to Taylor Swift.
This is nonsense. The leaders of official protests have been going to great lengths on social media to appeal for no violence and to condemn. it. 'Social media' is getting such a bad wrap. Understandably so of course in many ways. However, it is also pretty much the only way to find out (as in hear, read and probably more importantly to literally see) what is really going on.
Add also: burning libraries trashing food banks Destroying Citizen's Advice centres And opportunist looting, robbery and theft. And still I'm reading comments trying to justify these actions. Unreal.
You do understand that the currency of social media is simply views and engagement ? Most people don't seek out sensible reasoned content but end up consuming the stuff served to them by the algorithm tiktok is probably the worst and probably the most popular with young people
And then they have this patronising superiority about people they say are spoonfed by mainstream media. Wake up sheeple! It's hilarious.
The far left think of their climate change protests as noble. The far right think of their anti-immigration stance as being patriotic. Whether you agree with either belief is immaterial. The right to protest is an important liberty in a free country. The violence and looting that occurred in Hull yesterday was not a protest. It was mostly feral teenagers egged on by a smaller group of opportunistic thugs looking to start a fight.
