Great to see Roberts looking like his old self again. If he plays like that all season he’ll do well.

Going off the highlights I'd say we were canny. Mayenda could be a pleasant surprise this year just needs a goal the get him going

I thinked it help Roberts having Hume constantly going beyond him and getting it quicker to him. Interesting to see how this works when teams come and put everyone behind the ball from the start.

100%. Clarke is quality but when teamed up with Cirkin the left side of our team is massively boosted.

Hume has always been solid, it’s adding to his attacking side that will raise his game, and the winger that plays infront of him.

Enjoyed the day, surprised the young un the day before by telling him he was mascot. Played some nice stuff, Mayenda did OK but we aren't half crying out for a experienced striker to put the ball in the net.

Agreed. Isn’t he in the last year? Is he “one of those” who only does it to earn a contract? Hope not, as he’s a cracking player when he’s playing well

VAR wouldn’t have given it, as it probably would’ve given the tiny shove by Rusyn on the defender. But, if not, it wouldn’t have overturned it either as keeper effectively stops him from getting that ball. I shouted penalty as soon as it happened mind, thought it was clear at first viewing tbh
