Exactly mate, dont think we should be giving up on these young kids after a year, there raw but have talent & are still adjusting to living in a new country....i dont think it sets a good example for young players wanting to come if they know they definitely have to make it first year....despite the commitment of a 3/4 year contract....once the 'model' (yes i know sort of needs to stop being referred to) has a few years on it, these same level of young players probably just go straight into the U21s & wont hit the first team year one unless cup games or are an outstanding young talent first team ready
Insert *and so n so think KLD should actually spend money this is what our fans want us to end up like*
West Brom desperately went for the PL and failed ... ... now they're running up against the down escalator and will eventually exhaust themselves. They'll become another Reading and we'll all be expected to feel sorry for the supporters who'd have laughed at us if they'd gone up. Bollocks to them ... ... our club is properly run, sustainable and doing things properly.
Someone on twitter suggesting we are looking at Perry Ng the Cardiff right back. Really solid player, can play centre back as well. Would be a really good pickup if Pembele leaves.
Pembele needs to find somewhere where he’ll play a full season as a starter. He desperately needs games after that injury. Ng would be solid champ cover I think
2 years left on his contract, so won't be too cheap. Don't know if we should be spending a transfer fee on a 28yr old to be second choice.
Yeh can’t see Perry Ng happening at all. For the reasons above, and in addition not sure he’d leave where he is now as a starting right back to come and be backup here
