Supposedly these ****s are turning up again today, Boro tomorrow and saw reports possibly Newcastle on the 10th August.
Darren from the phone in is absolutely right but setting him, or anyone else, up to counteract Robinson and Farage is just more polarisation. Its polarisation that has created the conditions for this to occur. What we need is a strong centrist voice to drag everyone back towards the centre ground.
It’s all on a planned list from Stephen Yaxley Lennon. Yes some just join in, but this is planned far right activity. Apparently taking our country back means looting, torching police stations, burning taxi’s, making people of colour / who practice religion feel unsafe.
That’s her ****ed along with many others getting dismissed from there jobs on Monday for gross misconduct, tons losing benefits and countless tools in court, mindless, uneducated, racist, bigots - as my dad used to say the brain dead section of society
Everything about this whole atmosphere smacks, just a little, of cowardice in my opinion. Wealthy people like Farage, Johnson, Robinson, Trump, etc all say the things they do deliberately because they know it influences people. But when things like this happen, do they ever have a shred of decency, admit they know they're influencing people and accept even a shred of blame ... of course not, it's absolutely everyone else's fault and they're entirely blameless. So why say what they do if it's not influencing people, let's be honest they know exactly what they're doing. And do those people, including the voters of Sunderland, ever admit they're influenced by these weird xenophobic egomaniacs ... ... of course not, they'll insists they're all free thinking reasonable people who voted to leave Europe because of their deep concern about fishing quotas and farming subsidies. Nothing to do with disliking foreigners and wanting to build walls to keep them out or sending Royal Navy gunboats in. Thankfully these rioters have totally shot themselves in the foot and isolated themselves. Support for maniacs like Farage and Tommy Robinson will drop because people who might've gone along with them will have had a massive wake up call and start to think negotiation and dialogue may be painstaking and slow but infinitely better than seeing your home town in flames. Take it or leave it, that's my opinion and my last word on this sad thread except ... ... God bless the lad on the radio, posted by Snaggey, and those decent people helping to tidy up Sunderland this morning.
What these thick ****ers don't realise is unless they cover their faces 100% of the time they are very very likely to be identified and arrested for this. I reckon funding will be put together for a national police task force that goes through all cctv, body cam footage, social media footage and images and identifies people. There will be an effort to make an example of people who think protesting involves violence or criminal damage. Look at the just stop oil lot.
Quite the opposite in fact. That **** garage is belittling the pm for his handling if the situation he stirred up! ****! Rich posh **** who should have been left in the ****ing jungle! How many people I hear say "oh I like him now after the jungle!" I personally never watched it but a ****s a **** so can't see why he would seem any better in a jungle unless he was being fed to the wildlife!
Mate the picture tell a thousand words. This is what people are waking up to and not that ****e last night thankfully
Up to ten years sentence for a conviction of riot, up to 5 for violent disorder. There’ll be a few not working for a while and conditions on release will keep a few away from the town centre.
If this keeps going on it will lead to a massive clash between the far right protesters and normal people in one of the cities. It's only a matter of time and wouldn't be surprised if they get an absolute battering somewhere like Newcastle, especially if it's on a match day. It's not the right response but I can definitely see it happening.
Sentences need to be harsh. A message needs to be sent that this behaviour won't be tolerated. Local news near me reports that 7 teenagers have been charged (including for attempted murder) for the Southend disturbances. Those sentences need to be similarly harsh.
Me that. took a photo too of the outside and put up. Went in to have a look about and the security guard was ready to tackle me to the ground just about. Haha Once we ironed that out, he told me that they managed to get two rails of home shirts.
There’s a young Sunderland fan and her mam who were really worried last night, it broke my heart that she asked her mam are they going to come for her next (I won’t name her but any travelling fans will probably know her and her mam). luckily there’s scores of posts to the effect that they would have to go through us in that case.
