That yellow 'O' in Rollbit totally ruins the dynamic of the shirt. Such a shame. Pleased to see that the Starling bank one is available - it looks way better and I wouldn't be suprised if it sells a lot more
That's shocking. Fair enough if they want to scrap it, but then don't advertise it. I wonder if they have broken any rules.
Interesting side note ... I remember paying ~£30 for replica shirts when I was a teenager in the mid-90s. Just used the Bank of England calculator to see what that is after inflation. £30 in 1995 is the equivalent to £59.86 today.
I suppose within the advertising, it does say "10% discount on retail products, both at the Stadium Store and online, at selected points of the season". So potentially it might come back at some point over the coming months? But if not, then apparently the first part of pre-season (until roughly 26 July or something like that) is all that constitutes "selected points of the season"!
Just checked the website and it says "at selected points of the season" So I'm guessing that'd be their out. Though should probably communicate what those selected times are? Brendy got there first!
Guess they've flicked it off because we're now inside 20 days from the first game of the season, so they're expecting another rush on shirts. Another theory but maybe the third shirt is about to be revealed too and that's why they have turned it off (although they didn't for the home/away launch)
Dynamic pricing is a scourge in society. It used to be a bit of a running joke that the sale price of your sofa was basically what you could barter them down to any other time of year but now dynamic pricing is everywhere. We've stopped drinking in the Bedford's because they put the price of beer up during peak periods. They have a note on the bar that states it helps them "ensure a safe environment for all by putting on more bar staff and security and therefore providing a better experience for customers" - yeah, right, that's the reason!
We used to go there in the L1 days. We could get past how ropey it was because it was really cheap. Now it's still really ropey but expensive as well!
Whilst I don't really like it, I do think this is what they should do with 3rd kits every year. Make it ridiculous and try something different, every so often you might get a classic.
They've stopped doing ST discounts on retail? And that's another slap against the fans from our dear club. Good move Saints, as ever
Probably not a great idea to remove that discount in the same year season ticket prices rise too really.
They advertised it as for 'selected points in the season' only. What those selected points are is anyone's guess. Still a bit ****ty imo.
