We expecting it to kick off again this weekend? Last day of heatwave today so wouldn't suprise me in slightest.
I saw a few days ago on twitter people planning to protest in Liverpool tonight, but since Starmers words of advice, it seemed to have calmed down. But you are right, Friday night, no work tomorrow, warm weather, it's primed for it. Will look on twitter later tonight to see if anything occured.
Shame it was the back of him and not the front, that might of prevented him from breeding another generation of morons
Lol giving it large, then screamed as he was bit and you can hear him screaming "HELP ME! HELP ME!" as he's detained. I bet the cops felt a rush better than sex when they heard him screaming for help. I've been in that position when you take down a cocky twat and they instantly apologise and it is an amazing rush.
Worry that this is only the beginning and it's only going to get worse. Could do with a week of pissing down the rain. We all know the Brits don't riot in **** weather.
I remember the riots in 2011, was it so bad nationwide as these ones? I seem to recall minor skirmishes around the country but 99% of it being based in London.
We;ve had far worse riots than these, not even reached that level, Toxteth, Brixton, I think Brixton went on for days, sorry memory fails me, but defo far worse. The miners strike was brutal, probably the worst of the lot across the nation.
Manchester and West Mids was pretty bad tbf. We're not at that level yet, not even close imo. People were completely left to it for long periods during that time and free to loot shops for hours on end. May end up that way yet though.
I don't like riots because they only affect ordinary people, they don't affect those in power or those that have wealth.
My mate was on duty for a lot of the Brum one, had his whole house re carpeted off the back of the overtime
Most people are bandwagon jumpers too and generally couldn't give a **** or even know about the so called cause. That's what annoys me more than anything, people just finding any excuse to act like ****s. I'll never forget the rioter in 2011 who was asked by an interviewer how it would gain justice for Mark Duggan and replied 'who?'
Just been looking on the Sunderland board, one picture of something on fire by the cop shop unless it is actually the police station. Didn't copy and paste it here in case it's someones private picture on the board.
One thing similar to 2011 is that it's the summer holidays during a spell of hot weather. People can draw their own conclusions from that.
