WTAF Guehi would be immense. Him and Botman as a pairing would be, would be - I don't even have the superlatives to adequately do it justice.
He's fast - would be the perfect foil for Botman, powerful in the air, good positional sense in the main and is still only 24 - him and Botman could do 10 years here together...
£60m is probably a bit more than I'd pay but your paying the English tax on a young CB who could be the mainstay of England's defence for the next 10 years so you've got to pay a premium I guess.
If it is around that figure I'd be hard pressed to see us signing anyone else unless Miggy and Wilson were moved on or another big name is on the way out already....

You must have seen him in the World Cup. I’ve seen him a couple of times for palace and looks solid enough.
For 40-50m I think we cannot go wrong. He’s a massive upgrade on Lascelles. 24 and has premiership experience.
I think this may be the best signing of the summer if we get him.

Ah but I'm Croydon based, so get to see a bit of Palace every now and then so have seen him play. The lad is genuine class.
