    It's not logically impossible, that Kevin Nolan is the greatest sportsman of all time.

    It is however so highly unlikely as to make it actually impossible.



    Interestingly, this is essentially David Hume's argument against the possibility of Miracles.

    As an eighteenth century Scottish empirical philosopher he wasn't aware of the existence of the shrew faced Scouse spoiler, however if he had have been, I'm sure that he would have used him as an example of how causation needs a degree of reasonable probability to contain the limits of logical possibility.


    Anyway, next time you are walking down the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, rub his toe.

    It's lucky, by all accounts.

    have you ever been to a sportsman evening?

    I know that would you mean leaving your bedroom …but at a sportsman evening you would find managers & players… it’s a generic term

    When i was younger
    I almost moved to canada for a tree planting job
    I sometimes wish i did it just for the experience etc

    Uk should do something similar

    He did a good job - some of those early 22s were still in use by the Brazilian navy until a few years ago..
