He did take yet another whack in the face against Newcastle, but it seemed to be a leg injury of some sort which he later struggled with and ultimately went off with. Walter said thigh I think.
Oh I don’t know have you been at any of Tommy’s fights, I have and he did get hit an awful lot.. lol. Great guy though….
No player would agree to it while injured anyway. They're getting all the rehab etc covered FOC by the club, any specialist appointments, scan, ops etc etc whilst under contract. The second he agreed to terminate he'd have none of that
Op on my foot on the 22nd Still hobbling about with a boot on and crutches now Five more weeks to go So I’m ruling myself out of starting on Saturday
Don't count yourself out yet. If Lewie doesn't make it, you might still be the best option for left back.
I might have missed something but is this what we know at the moment? Sinik - out indefinitely Longman - out for a bit Omur - might be out for a bit Oscar - is he injured? Coyle - might be out for a bit
No firm update yet, presumably we'll find out at the pre-match press conference, but at the moment is looks like Oscar should be fine, hopefully Omur as well, Longman and Coyle probably out and Sinik's definitely out.
Longman needs surgery on his shoulder, so won't just miss the season opener and is now unlikely to go anywhere this window. All the other doubts (Oscar, Coyle, Omur) have been cleared to play on Saturday,.
Gotta feel for longman This was probably his best chance to really cement his place in the starting lineup
