Voted 2. But they're both great (good work man!), although I also like the idea of the current one with Speed integration

Can't we just whack him in the right of the current one, next to Tiote, washed out like Sir Bobby?

the banner with Ben Arfa shoehorned in is hilarious - reminds me of the poster for Lethal Weapon 3 with Benny as Joe Pesci!

lol <laugh> I know that poster well! It must be said I was messing around with the content to see if HBA could be added into the layout as it was suggested originally. It was mentioned in a past thread over the last day or do as an example of slight repositioning of the current images that'd allow more space on the left. Just thought I'd post it up for reactions!?

The thing about 'losing' visibility of the edges of the image on the banner is down to the scale the artwork is set as the optimum at the default page size - it could be scaled down to show more for everyone - it helps having a big display mind!! ;-)

How about Gary Speed opposite SBR, next to Tiote, faded out like Sir Bobby?

Number 1 for me. Nice and clean <ok>

Will it be adjusted though? Just that some of it gets cut off.

Wonderful effort and both are great. Exactly why I had in mind. Well done!

Personally I think the banner should be left as it is. It took months to get it changed last time, no doubt we'll get this one up just in time to see a player clear off in January and then have to change it back again. Leave it as it is til it needs changing. The one we have is excellent.

Also, while I was saddened by Speed's death, he was hardly a massive player for us, certainly not up there with Shearer and there are plenty of others who've earned a spot on the banner ahead of him in my opinion.

Sorry AG. I couldn't agree with you less.

He was every bit as important to the SBR team as Alan Shearer. The fact that he was so low maintenance, and never seemed to be injured, maybe made him be taken for granted, in some quarters.

He was like a good haircut. The less you noticed, the better it was.

Whilst still sore, people are moving on with things? Could crop it and use it as a signature if you want to see it as a reminder...
