They are indeed a formidable bunch. Part is due to the fact, while CIA and MI6 are worrying about collateral damage from operations, Mossad dont gve a ****e who they upset e.g. The use of British, Irish & French passports to assassinate that fella in Dubai), sort of in the same way as much of Israel's military history.
So while you kicked up a fuss in your objections to remarks about the suicide of one man, the prospect of the murder of millions of innocent people is amusing to you? Hmm interesting
I didn't actually I never 'invaded' GC when all the crap was going on. Is what I said. And nar slaughtering millions of people wouldn't be funny I just like the tune. Catchy don't you think?
Not sure what you are trying to say, did you mean "Minimal concern for collateral damage" because in the context what you actually said doesnt really make sense. Assuming you were meaning minimal concern, well does that include maiming children with banned phosphorous bombs, does it include bulldozing down houses while their occupants are inside?
Nah, that's probably a little too much... the Terrorists should be picked off when not around the public (if possible)
Fair enough, but they could do a whole lot more themselves to bring the situation to the discussion table like going back on their word in agreements about things like stopping building settlements, lift the ghetto conditions in Gaza etc
Who has been America's greatest regional aid in countering al qaeda? not that they are getting much thanks for it. Honestly I am at loss to see the big worry about Iran. Pakistan is a much more worrying prospect. Forget discussion of are they?will they?, Pakistan actually has nuclear weapons and with a public and miltary that already despise America and is sympathetic to extremists, the government are one big American cock up away from an extremist sympathetic military coup that leaves the fate of these nuclear weapons in very questionable hands
Being serious for a second I would actually have to agree with most of the points you make there. The thought of a extremist coup (or some event where they may come into power) is perhaps the most frightening prospect in the world today. Never mind just the regional effects it would be a global disaster its part of the reason that I also believe that the Iranians need to be dealt with harshly and watched very closely. With two unstable Nuclear powers in the region it would not be if but when and that is before we get to what Israel's reaction would be to solid evidence that Iran was even beginning to produce nuclear weapons.
Jacky, entirely off topic and this is probably a bit of a can of worms but... Knowing you're from 'Béal Feirste' suggests you're Republican and quite clearly from reading your posts on here you're an intelligent lad with political interests so you're as good a person as any to ask. Being Republican, as far as I understand it, your main aim is for Ireland to be unified, but with the current financial climate in Ireland, how do you feel about the idea of a united Ireland today as we stand?
The storming of the embassy should have been avoided. The question is whether the action is backed by the Iranian government or not. If it is, it does mean a lot of trouble. If not, then they should really handle security better IF they really are after nukes.
Both you guys require a long winded reply. Something im not prepared to give when I have to write it out on the app in my bed as im dozing off. Il get back to yous when I get to the computer in the morning
