It was a great ending, but the end of the women's rowing was immense, the last stroke did it.

I didn't think they were going to do it, but the timing of that last stroke couldn't be more perfect, just got them that inch ahead at the line.

 

Dutch girls will be absolutely distraught when they see the replay - must admit, when watching it live, my initial thought was 'no ****ing way!' as they pulled their final stroke ... came up with both teams as 'PF' provisional first? On the screen as they went across. ..

it was quite confusing in real time as he had been 8 to 14 secs down for yonks and then suddenly bang the turbo came on
