There was always going to be a backlash Agree, but swift action is needed, non of this review and long-grass malarkey
Most Rwandans are Christian but the EDL use this tragedy to attack mosques. It’s sick exploiting this. Let people grieve ffs. People need that level of respect.
It's fkn disgusting what's happening tonight. Using the tragic death of 3 young girls to push their narrative. Zero respect for the grieving family's of those girls.
Agree, but society flipped over the past few years to wanting instant gratification and Facebook likes
I can't wait till my lads get back from holiday tomorrow. Im going to give them the biggest hug i can. This country is well and truely fecked up, and i really fear for my lads growing up into this world of needless acts of cowardly violence.
Tonight’s behaviour in Southport is disgraceful, it’s what I was adhering to earlier, I was fearful that a switch would flip and we would end up with anarchy on the streets. Unfortunately I think we will see a lot of this kind of reactions if the government don’t get a grip quickly.
To be fair, this government have been in a 3 week.. These knuckledraggers kicking off were encouraged by the former Home Secretary. I just hope we realise we have to replace community services to an appropriate level. Understandable this close have an emotional response but they need peace to process it all.
Been busy this evening just caught up on what’s going on. I’m shocked but not surprised, this has been brewing for a while and labelling protesters “far right” for voicing concerns after a tragedy is ridiculous but to then send armed police after letting the Leeds riots go seemingly unchecked with a few riot vehicles less than two weeks ago is disgraceful. They might as well have poured petrol on the fire themselves. Hopefully this is resolved sooner rather than later so the poor parents can mourn their children without this drama. Before Musk bought Twitter you couldn’t say anything remotely to the right of centre without being banned. It was one way traffic of Freedom of Speech and now that it’s no holds barred people are finally voicing their opinions that have been brewing for years. I worry for the next decade in this country it feels like any major incident is going to cause chaos.
And there has just been a suggestion on Sky News that rumours that he was were deliberately spread by Russian bots to foment civil disorder (I mean, that's probably another rumour that should be treated with caution but there you go).
The feckers rioting have decided to get their kicks on the back of kids dying and it’s deplorable shouldn’t laugh but the law of FAFO caught up with this “concerned citizen” https://x.com/biggies_maiis/status/1818404375666344156?s=46&t=FgnCLl4rQYbvpjBe_u6nPQ
Good examination here of how disinformation has been spread online about what happened in Southport. https://x.com/marcowenjones/status/1818343641930514674?t=wHpc4rN1UdFcAUz8zw8kbA&s=09
Really interesting. I posted this in reply to one tweet this morning. That’s just my hunch but your guy backs it up with evidence! please log in to view this image
Hopefully Sir Keir will post a tweet condemning the rioting and knife violence on the streets of Southend for all to see last night, just a day after what happened in Southport.. On second thought, I’ve just realised the rioters aren’t white.
What a load of **** mind. They were chanting EDL. I have a few mates in Southport, one lad I mountain bike with, his daughters lost a friend. They were chanting free Tommy. You know **** all. He is disgusted they are there. Stop talking dogshit you absolute weapon.
This is a concerning article from the BBC. What particularly worries me is that the authorities believe that, amongst other things "conspiracy theories" and "the toxicity of our political climate" lead to increasing violence. I know this will be unpopular, but our mainstream politicians contribute to that toxicity. BBC News - Rise in people fascinated by violence, police warn https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c6p20dl71jpo
