I wouldnt be surprised if we brought in another RB, maybe even a loan for 6 months until huggins is back fit

Pembele struggles defensively every time i watch him, doesn't track runners, stands and watches attacks unfold, doesnt pressure the ball, poor positional play - not the things you want to be saying about your back up RB

Theres a good 5 names that I’d be perfectly happy to see alongside the first XI. Was 6 until the centre halves had a mad 5 mins!

Him and Embleton playing as a 2 in midfield. Neither have the defensive capabilities so Bradford are just walking through us. Passing has been a bit off but has carried the ball well a few times.

Been poor imo, had a 5 minute patch where he did ok but thats it. Embleton is playing yhe deeper of the 2, embo offers zero defensively tho so the 2 of them are getting overran

Other than Mundle they've all been pretty poor. Rigg included

Embleton was bad for the 2nd (he’s been pretty poor all game for me) but the big scare is this backing off thing that Hjelde does. He’s done it a few times now - just inviting players right towards the goal. It’s bizarre. Johnson was AWOL too. Shame for ZJ in a way as other than some absolute honkers of over hit passes he’d been pretty good up to the goals.

Pembele, Embleton, Rusyn, Anderson just aren't good enough. Will give Ba a free pass for it being his first game. Hjelde has good qualities but why on earth does he keep backing away when an opponent is around the edge of the box? Aouchiche needs to calm down, not everything has to be a shot or a killer pass, just keep it moving.

    Mundle good though, impressed.

I’d probably bring in a centre half and then back Onien to provide cover. Also gets us over the hump till Ballard and Seelt are back.

Possibly, def feel we need another defender at least (not a reaction to tonights game as I've mentioned it a few times before)

If huggins n seelt were fit id probably be ok with the players weve got at the back but hume getting injured will be a massive issue

The club had all this covered but these injuries, plus Cirkin and Ballard, have shifted the situation.

Got to hope O’Nien, Alese, Hume and Cirkin stay fit all August whilst Ballard is out. Once Ballard is back, at least O’Nien can fill in at either full back

Definitely need another player who can play the deep midfield role. If Neil gets a knock or a suspension we have zero players who can cover.

I still have a few question marks over alese as a CB, not saying Hjelde is the answer over him either (like others have said, why back off like hes done a few times now) but not convinced that Alese is ready for CB just yet

I don’t disagree but I wonder when Triantis is back. I guess until then it would be Browne covering

Thats why i dont mind Ekwah getting sold, then bring in another CDM and we then have 2 players to cover each position

    Neil/new player
    Browne/Rigg
    Jobe/ Adil
