Moore has to score that, probably weren’t expecting the header but still should be finishing it or at least getting it on target.

The football these youngsters are playing is unreal at times. Just lacking the finishing touch.

Mikey Moore with another goal in pre-season… was on a plate for him from Donley who linked with Solomon down the left.

    16 years old… ****ing hell.

The lesson is blatantly clear :

3 goals scored : good play the opposition could do little about.
2 goals conceded : sloppy passing.

Football really is a simple game.

Toughest game so far, especially considering the heat. Good test for all involved.

Youngsters really excelled though yet again. Moore, Devine, Bergvall, Gray and Donley all amongst the better performers.

Ange simply has to get something out of them this season, it’ll be a considerable failure on his part if he doesn’t.

I know it’s only pre season and not the toughest opponents but the youngsters (especially Mikey Moore) already look better than some of their senior counterparts

Highlights, which are just the goals and Donley hitting the post:

He was good , put in a decent shift . Word is that he's been impressing the coaching staff that's where he needs to improve. If he does the off field stuff better he will stay.

Pre-season results obviously mean jack **** as it really is just about building fitness and cohesion but Chelsea getting thumped 4-1 by Celtic is still somewhat enjoyable to hear.

I'm noticing a slight issue with the official player portraits at the moment

    2024-5 kit: Archie Gray
    2023-4 kit: Everyone else
2022-3 kit: ...except for Alfie Devine, who is wearing the kit from two season ago

Oh yeah, I remember nearly getting wiped out by one of these things in Marunouchi a couple of months ago...
