Yeah his value is only going to either stay the same (if he has a class season) or drop.

He seems happy, and the club seem content to let him fo loads of interviews as if he was staying.

However there's one big problem in Harte that just won't keep his gob shut

 

I doubt we'll be after a left back tbh. Cirkin is no1. Then Alese, Hjelde and even Hume will cover there. Got to think Bainbridge will feature at some point too

... it's where we often lose out in midfield.

And once we do there are always runners breaking off from it.

I'm sure Le Bris will be considering all this, hope so anyway.

 

Alese and hjelde seemed to be looking like CB's, I'd like a proper natural left back as cover personally

 

Not a fan of Alese at CB, much prefer him at left back. Looks really jittery on the ball and isn't that good in the air

 

In an ideal world yeah, but our squad is massively bloated as it is. We've got numerous cover, so I think they'll leave it as it is.

I doubt we'll have many more incoming tbh. We'll trim the squad and then add a striker. Then I think we'll wait till the last week to see if any gems from the prem become available.

 

Don’t forget, when we are talking about cover (like LB) we’ve got Onion who can play anywhere (and heal dogs)

 

We probably don't even need cover for Patta 'cos of Onions

Sheff Wed by the looks of it, from what I last heard they were close to signing him.

 

If it is or at least even if we looked at him, it would be very telling of the type of striker we are looking at, tall athletic players with at least a few seasons behind them and at least 2 good goalscoring seasons

 

Could mean ugbo is off their radar?

 

Many cubs registered their interest and the club is unnamed, just weirdly sounds like a club that hasn't been in the mix due to it being "unnamed"

 

I was going to point out that everyone is forgetting possibly the best LB of the lot, Niall Huggins. Then I checked online and realised he's not expected back until 2025... I hadn't realised he was out quite that long, feel so sorry for the lad, he was looking a top player before the injury.

 

Yeah I think he will be if they sign this lad, they’re also trying to get rid of Smith
