Walked what felt like entire length of Tarragona from bus station to a Roman ruin that looked in better condition than old Trafford. Nice place but everything closed other than a couple of bars and a few restaurants. Strange because it seems much much bigger than Salou but everything open there. Must be something to do with it being less touristy

Well yeah Salou is full of English scum who demand a full roast when it’s 35 degrees on a Sunday.

Admittedly not been for about 25 years but that’s how I remember it. Copy of yesterday’s newspaper for the equivalent of about £2 by the pool. Chucked into the kids club all day. Great times.

I've only heard one other English voice here. Even less than last year.

    Bliss.

Mainly Spanish, German and Dutch. Some Italians too.

There's a Dutch set up next door, taking up two pitches with what looks like grandparents etc.

They have; a full size gas barbecue, a charcoal barbecue, a slow cooker, a fridge freezer, a fridge, an air fryer, a two gas ring stove, a water cooler, two air con units, a full size fan and a microwave.

Plus whatever they have in their actual caravan.

The could feed and water the whole village.

I'd say it's the adult men and women.

The blokes have huge guts and the women have huge arses. Definitely gas producers.

You have to do a similar ESTA thing like the US. I did it online when I went to Canada. It’s not expensive or that difficult to get approval.

when I re did my ESTA for the US this year they asked me if I was intending to carry out any terrorism or espionage lol
