What’s he playing out through the media? He clearly said he isn’t insisting on the final say and quite rightly just expects collaboration. Absolutely correct and nothing whatsoever contentious.
Can you say how he’s “trying to push the ownership around”? He’s the head coach and wants collaboration over incoming transfers. It’s his head on the block and him who has to fit them in so that’s just pure logic. Why the reference to being ex Bournemouth manager(where he did an outstanding job)?
Yeah I don’t like the feeling he’s using the fans goodwill, the whole “Eddie howes black and white army” as if he has the public on his side. Rafa did it. As a lot of managers do. The difference is the fans need to recognise the owners role in the success.
Rafa had a reputation to back it up. A owner the fans hated and a fan base looking for anything positive. Howes done well, but that stunt last week used up any goodwill he had in the bank as far as I’m concerned.
Using the fans how exactly? What’s he said that is so controversial? Some on here desperately looking for something that isn’t there.
Stunt? Get a grip, if you’re not happy in a job you leave. That’s controversial? He clearly said he was happy. Nothing to see here unless you’re making things up to suit an agenda.
So it’s kinda obvious, but using the public domain appeals to the common man; word gets out, news spreads. Hes flexing. Clearly. But I think it’s ill advised.
I kind of agree with Magdad here. Howe has played a power card and he might regret it in the long run.
