Think it was big Albus Dumbledore who said...

‘Youth cannot know how age thinks and feels. But old men are guilty, if they forget what it was to be young".

I'm of the opinion that Jobe will have to really improve to keep his position. Be less of a central attacking role, more of a left/right in a three.

I am an educated fellow. I'll take stock and use the word of the pirates carefully next time.

Can see Rusyn, Hemir, Bennette, Embleton, Ekwah, Matete, Triantis, Anderson and Pembele leaving either on loan or permanent. Pembele is the biggest question mark on that list because I don't think he's really had a chance but he needs minutes.

I assume you're trying to say 'too literally' <laugh>

Yes a lot of people jumped on it because it's yet another example of the accusations that Speakman is some kind of crook who's working against the club. As it turns out the 'information' this was based on was an absolute nonsense. If people are going to claim club employees are doing something underhand surely they should have more than total guesswork to base it on.

I'm sure we'd all be annoyed at being accused of skullduggery in our work without any justification ...

... it seems some people believe in the old adage, 'Throw enough shyte at the wall and some will stick'.

Can't see us getting Vipotnik, like you say. There'll be loads after him. Clubs will be able to offer him sunny beaches/more money/bigger signing on fee...etc.

Yes but, apart from that, what will the Romans be able to offer him <whistle>

I think you've proven my point, the defence of a man against a word. I don't think as many complained when some mad ****er called him Hitler.

Skullduggery, shenanigans, underhand dealings...whatever name you give it it's a load of bullshit when applied to Speakman's approach to getting players in.

Some people have an agenda against the bloke that they're determined to cling to no matter how many times they're proved wrong. Could win the league under his watch and they'd just be biding their time looking for somewhere to stick the knife in.

If you're accusing a man of being underhand you should have the decency to have your facts straight and state them.

Sorry mate, there's just no excuse.

Yeah it’s such a mad one, just as we thought it was coming to a close a new snag in the Mendy deal (because of mbappe) could cause it to go on for a while leading us to look elsewhere. Really hope we have something sorted within the next two weeks
