I had five missed calls from her the other day. I was like.... **** she's fallen down the stairs or something !

When I phoned her back she was like 'Oh can you go and get me a battered sausage and chips' ffs <laugh>

The pasty shop that was there was brilliant, shame it's gone. I can't remember the number but they had a great variety of fillings.

It must have been a few years ago that mate. Do you remember where ... down by the lifeboat station, or the other end near the beach ?

First time I went there was 30 yrs since, last time about 24/25 years, memory a bit foggy but iirc, it was opposite a beach at the bottom of a hill.

I'll have to ask when I'm next down there. I've been down here 22 years this year, so it's probs before even my time !

I'm off to Totnes tomorrow for their annual agricultural show.

Mixture of old school farming types and posh hippies up that way.

Lots of Pippa and Henry types, so I'll be encouraging them to open their wallets.

This is maybe a bit of a longshot, but any musicians on here who use Mark Bass equipment ?

I've just sold my old Trace Elliot amp. It had tons of bottom end and was punchy as ****, but I've recently started gigging again and the drummer in the band is more jazz and brushes kind of affair. So I'm looking for an amp with a bit more colour. Been looking at that MB stuff. It's also digital and light as **** which is always a bonus when you're carrying a 35kg amp up up a flight of stairs in a club lol

Edit : Probs should put this on the music fred but cba to change it now.

Nothing yet but waiting on a few texts back. Saxton is in a Kiss tribute band so I’m hopeful on that one.
