I agree. The other thing that is concerning is the fact that we are 3 weeks away from the season starting with rumours saying we are not close to making any signings. And I don’t class Hall as a signing in this window albeit he was paid for in this window. So thus far we have no new players in the first pre season game as far as I can tell.

Eddie Howe is an obstacle to the club at this point. He should just get on with it ... if he wants to leave... fine there's the door. This ownership needs to show some fight back .... you can't have an ex Bournemouth manager trying to push the ownership around publicly. I want him to stay, but it's all a bit of a soap opera now. Maybe it's because those lovely journos ask him direct questions and he responds, then they publish something that will help them get clicks. Maybe. Short of constantly saying "no comment" (which frankly would him look a bit of an arse) what's he meant to do?
He managed to say nothing was close when Barnes was on his way to America on plane, but now he's only capable of saying no comment when he lies ? It was avoidable and that's the bottom line. He will stay but I don't like the way he sang like a canary.
