Looking tired second half. Couple of times we almost put something slick together but then the critical pass is an error. It’ll come eventually. They’re trying to relearn something that we’ve not really done in over a year.

Think Roberts had been in the outskirts of the game again and although he's been decent, I think Clarke is playing within himself

Mostly just wavelength stuff I think. Both Browne and Neil are more than capable of making those passes that they’ve just blown.

Mayenda still impressing me but we cannot play Cardiff with him as the 9. Lad needs time and refinement. Would be unfair on him.

Good 70 for Browne. Going to be so important this season.

The workrate is there, just needs to learn how to lead the line.

I want to see him dragging defenders about a bit more than hes doing here

Looks like he's slotted in seamlessly, very tidy player and covers every blade of grass.

Mayenda is trying hard but he just isn’t ready.

the difference an effective striker would make to this team can’t be understated. Not just talking about goals, talking about moving the back line around, stretching them by running in behind, being an option on the edge of the box for a 1-2 with the likes of Browne, Roberts, Clarke etc

it will all give the opposition something to think about and create space for the rest of the team.

It looks cracking business brining in Browne a proven championship player, let’s hope they can get the striker (s) so desperately needed.

While that’s true regarding Mayenda needing space to grow, the disconnect in our attacking play isn’t down to his inexperience in the main. Truth is we’ve seen players that we know are hugely capable, just struggle to put together moves and passes that we know for certain they have in their locker. It’ll come. It’s partnerships, familiarity and sharpness mostly imo.

Lad I knows there says Hemir hasn’t tried a leg, disappointing if so probably feels hard done by after a solid performance in Spain but you’d expect him to be busting a gut to get in the first team

Aye fair points and definitely contributing but I’ve seen about half a dozen times when midfielders have got the ball in space attacking the final third get their head up and look for the striker to either play in or play off and nowt meaning we’ve then had to go sideways.

frustrating as hell as it makes us look a lot worse than I think we are, plus it’s not helping mayenda.

Like I said hopefully they get it sorted asap.

Again pressing very high and getting a goal from it. Lovely pass by Rigg, good work to recover a poor touch by Roberts, nice finish by Clarke. Good goal.
