I think the issue is it is every bloody time. No variation whatsoever hence teams press us. Hopefully we vary things this coming season.
I think we look good. Repeatedly winning the ball high up the pitch and our attacks are quick and dangerous. The midfield 3 of Neil, Browne and Jobe works well. Mayenda really impressing me, needs to be more composed in the box though, should've scored near the start.
Some really good football from us, it’s a bit like ground hog day tho missing that clinical goal scorer. Brown looks a great signing.
Decent half of football that for a pre season game. Good pressing from us, good tempo to our play. Brown looks a quality addition. Patto distributing the ball quickly as well
I dont think they would just go into the starting line up, its all about having the squad for a long hard season and still feel we will be in trouble if Neil gets injured Browne will cover there if he is but feel hes so much better going forward
I will say that this game is giving me awful flashbacks of our League One years. Blackpool sitting deep and just launching the ball at every opportunity. Grim.
