The childhood tv themes thread reminded me of the brilliant “Grandstand” tune,and have always been tempted to use as my ringtone but have kept my choice for years

I have the same ringtone as you. Have done so for about 20 years. Having said that, my phone is ALWAYS on silent

That episode is my favourite. So many good scenes.

Saying that, my phones on silent 99% of the time anyway.

 

Default and always on silent. Find I don't need one since the advent of the smartwatch, but before that I mostly just had the boring 'ring ring' tone.

I did once flirt with the 'YOU'VE GOT A ****ING TEXT MESSAGE' alert but it quickly became irritating. Ditto the 'WARNING IT'S THE WIFE' ringtone.
