No bets yet but I like these for an e/w shot Arsenal 15/8 Middlesbrough 12/1 Charlton 16/1 Port Vale 10/1
Arsenal to win the league. They’ve a tremendous squad now and I like the players that they’re bringing in this summer. Fairly confident it’s their turn, now. Coventry should be right up there in our league. They’ve been knocking at the door and should spend big again this season. Birmingham should really bounce straight back up. Port Vale squad looks a level above where they’re at. That’s my 4. I think Newcastle will probably finish top 4. No Europe and I expect them to spend heavily at some point during this summer. Chelsea and Liverpool in transition. Man Utd and Spurs aren’t quite there yet. They could sneak in again.
At the moment, I’d agree with you. I have a feeling this is the summer where they’ll spend massively, if they do, they’ll be top 4.
I think they’ll be okay myself but that’s not a bad price. So hard to predict things in this league though, so many sides who could potentially go up/down.
Tentatively looking at Hull to be relegated. Had a horror pre season, haven't properly replaced any of their players from last season, a new manager who is known for playing a specific style and not deviating from it no matter which players he has. Also little rumours that the owner is looking to sell.
I think he’ll score goals at that level but he misses a load of games these days mate. Hasn’t played a great deal recently.
