I feel cheated, AW should have played Vito instead

Gutted for the lads, they put in a really positive performance. Really harsh to come away with nothing. Classic sucker punch on the counter, you can't really fault them too much for that goal.

Some great performances in there though for Frimpong, Coquelin and Oxo

I thought Miquel looked really assured again.

Lot of positives there, and some reinforcements for wenger to see.

    Chammy is not good enough.
    Flappy is his normal self.

    Very impressed with OXO tonite.......blinder

Benny too put 110 per cent in .
Frimpong too played very well .

Once we lose some deadwood i see a good strong side ahead.

Only reason we lost was flappy....chesney would have bben off his line and chomping at aueros knees , thats the difference between them .

Overall im pleased with the effort and aggression of the team .

What a difference to the first 70 mins we saw against Fulham .
Young players with something to prove.

Th only positives from the match was watching some brilliant individaul displays esp from the youngest player on the pitch.. Kos and Squid actually had a good game albeit kos doing most of the work.

The two CM ( Frim and Coq) also had a good game.

loss in concentration lost us the game, and i think it was a good display by Arsenal.

The goal was a classic counter sucker punch, I don't think we can fault the lads too much for the approach they took to the game, which was really positive.

Vito needs toplay vs Olympiakos...though it was a GREAT performance. I'l give Park some more time, but an FC is needed during January (Chammy should have made it 1-1 from gervihno's brilliant cross)

Well done to all the young players tonight. They all did well and showed what they can do. But in the end that extra bit of quality from City showed in that final counter.

The goal came from a good counter and an excellent final through pass. We can't really blame the lads for throwing caution to the wind towards the end of the game as we certainly didn't want extra time and losing tonight wasn't the end of the world. If it were, we would have put out a stronger team, wouldn't we?

Oxo was really unlucky not to score in the first half. But his performance was top notch. He has to be pushing for a first team place. I'd use him with Walcott on the left at times. He gives us a really direct and powerful driving force - as does Frimpong in the middle.

Sorry what trophy do you have a realistic chance of winning?
Maybe a long shot for the FA cup but that's about it, and that is only one trophy.

    Funny stuff, truly funny stuff.

Oh ****. That mug Redknapp has started the AOC for England campaign. Here comes the pressure. Watch them build him up so they can knock him down when the next big thing comes along.

I don't get why people are laying into Flappy for the goal - it was a break at pace, paid on a plate and finished very well, absolutely nothing he could have done.
Keeper who make themselves 'big' as suggested often get outsmarted by clever players who have the ability to adjust themeslves when seeing a keeper commit - the goal is 24 feet wide !

But like others I think it was a positive performance overall, we created chances and some of our youngsters will have gained vital experience from this game.

And for those also criticising AW for taking Oxo off, he is adament that he protects a player who is still developing physically and with his skills
