Okay let’s break this down. IF you were talking about Joelinton scoring against Hull on his debut……. Were you wrong??????? I know a solicitor that could tie you up in knots over this……eventually, if his secretary would answer his phones and pass him his messages
Is saying oh sorry I thought you meant Joelinton despite him not scoring on his debut past Hull too difficult?
I thought so Well I will say I can see why and where things went wrong... let's just look forward to the signings mate
Madueke agreed personally al terms with us according to football insider so **** source. On phone in Spain with **** Wi-Fi do not even going to attempt to post link
Dunno what the confusion is with the Greek goalie, they overspent on our ****e so we overspent on theirs due to how PSR works. They helped us while we helped them but neither team wanted to weaken themselves so we spent 20 million on a **** goalie rather than the 80 million it would take to vastly overpay for Gibbs-White
Almiron out and Madueke in would be a win. If we also got Thiaw then I'd be pretty happy with our dealings. Yes there's other areas and players that could improve but I think a team of: Gordon - Isak - Madueke Joelinton-Bruno-Tonali Hall-Botman-Thiaw-Trippier Pope With backups of: Barnes-Wilson-Murphy Willock-Longstaff-Miley Targett-Burn-Schar-Livramento Dubs Is good enough for 3-7 position, possibly the top end of that if we're lucky with injuries AND a couple of cup runs.
This entirely. We needed to help each other out. The keeper was worth £5m and Anderson £15m so we both paid £20m more than their values. The fact we got a player we don't need and they got a player they could use is because we have better players than them, so they had to pay more money to reflect that. It's really not an issue. A 10 point deduction, now that would have been an issue.
We essentially hampered ourselves to the tune of £4m per year (amortised value over 5 year) while being able to book a £35m pure profit to the PSR bottom line. For Forest, they posted a £20m profit (less any amortised fee on Chaka Deemus) while taking a £7m per year amortisation hit on Anderson. Back scratching of the highest order.
I love your optimism. I'd be happy/surprised if it was above £20m. Chelsea signed Madueke for £29m and if we are in for him I suspect it's not going to be much more than that, if we manage to swap Miggy in our team for Madueke and it costs us £10-15m then I think that's excellent business.
If he goes to Saudi, I don't think £30m is unrealistic. We got £25m from Saudi for an unwanted Twinkle Toes remember. Madueke had a decent season, I think his price will have definitely gone up.
I fail to see how us buying after 30th a June helps NF pre 30th June unless it was this season in which they had FFP problems?
