Maybe the club have already signalled their intentions by handing 15 youngsters their professional contracts. Mind you, if all we can get for Hoedt is 3 million euros, that surely indicates that there could be others who are just as good around for a similar fee - or, as TC is apparently keen on, loan players from the EPL..

As for Asprilla I did wonder if Tom was planning to be without him with his formation as I could not see where he could play As for his Watford career he did not do a Pedro and almost demand his inclusion in every game and if anything he was less effective last season than he was in the games he played the season before I wish him well but as a twenty year old I cant see playing in Saudi is going to progress his long term career, £25m is a brilliant return on him £15m is also a great return for Kone and I think Sissoko will be a better player for us in the short term Hoedt is the one I think will be difficult to replace in the short term but if he turns down a new Contract we have little option For the number 9 position the only player in recent history that totally fits his requirement is a mid twenties Troy Deeney Bayo is almost two thirds of what he wants and Rajovic is almost two thirds but we shall see if Bah has the long term potential New season I a couple of weeks and we will be there for the Orns
