Maybe the cops should show pics of the womans broken nose and ask those protestors if they find that acceptable.
Just what I was thinking - if you don't resist arrest in the first place there really shouldn't be a problem...
The Colombian approach of killing them in the night and disposing of the bodies in a lake is what I want to see from Starmer. He has a mandate.
Id imagine they are fully aware and went regardless, i mean if we know why wouldn't they know. You know?
Don't support those bloke but... Anyone who kicks someone in the head when they are on the floor and then stamps on their head is a complete ****. If any of us get attacked in the street and we knock them down and they stay on the floor we'd not be charged cos it's self defence. If we booted them in the head and stamped on their head we'd be charged with assault. Shop workers, health workers, council workers, teaching staff, etc are regularly assaulted by the public. Imagine the reaction if a an 16 year student attacked a teacher and their colleague responded like this or a shop work was hit and their work mates did this. The blokes deserved to be nicked and probably get a slapping but if those old bill behaved like that in an airport with all those witnesses and cameras around what might they do late at night on an estate?
Anyone out late on an estate is up to no good anyways so kick **** out of em all, bring a stab vest tho
Yeah, some Muslim leader went on x and chastised the police as racist, not once did he mention the 3 coppers they assaulted. All kicked off, when one of the men was picked up as been on the police's wanted list, he complied when asked to stand against a wall, his mates kicked off and did the assault, the one who the copper kicked, apparently the one who broke her nose.
Mentioned on the other thread where this is being discussed, but the bloke has been tasered and is incapacitated, so he's no longer a threat. The Copper has lost his head and lashed out and in doing so he's crossed a line. The bloke who's been arrested has clearly been a ****, and it looks as though he's punched a woman copper. But once he's been incapacitated, its up to the police to cuff him and arrest him. Not kick him in the face and then stamp on his head. We live in a country where the courts decide what charges and punishment he should face, not one where Coppers dish out retribution because they are angry. Police are trained to deal with these situations and they have a responsibility to carry out their duties without resorting to acts of thuggery. What that copper has actually done in that situation, is inflamed the situation and put his colleagues in further danger. You can see the reaction on the video where people then start rushing in and another copper starts spraying pepper spray to try and keep them at bay.
Kicking someone in the head when they’re down isn’t an instant charge, btw. If they’re still deemed a threat, a kick to the head to keep yourself safe and remove the threat is a justified argument. This hasn’t happened here but hopefully the copper pulls that card and gets away with a final warning. No sympathy for any man breaking a woman’s nose. Why didn’t they just wait until he was in the cells and they could have booted him all over the place then.
Some copper saying that firearms officers aren't allowed to use their hands to control a situation , they need to be in complete control of their weapon(oh ah mrs) at all times, consequently when the fella was on the floor and not complying is possibly the reason the boot went in. Reports now saying one of the women in the party was asked to be searched that's why it kicked off.
I not ringing my retired copper mate cos he will go on a rant about how they should have booted all of them
